Training Programme Agreement
(Bronze, Silver & Gold Programmes)
This Policy applies to structured private training programmes delivered in-person or live online, including:
Bronze Programme (3 lessons)
Silver Programme (5 lessons)
Gold Programme (7 lessons)
These programmes are designed as guided learning journeys and must be completed within the timeframes outlined below.
1. Programme Structure & Timeframes
Bronze Programme
Includes 3 lessons
Programme must be completed within 8 weeks of the first session
Silver Programme
Includes 5 lessons
Programme must be completed within 16 weeks of the first session
Gold Programme
Includes 7 lessons
Programme must be completed within 24 weeks of the first session
Programme timeframes begin from the date of the first booked session.
Extensions are not guaranteed and are granted at the discretion of Mindfulness4dogs.
2. Deposits
All training programmes require a non-refundable deposit to secure the initial booking.
Deposits:

reserve session times and preparation work

are retained regardless of attendance

are deducted from the total programme fee
3. Payment for Programmes
Programme fees may be paid:

Bank transfer
When paying by bank transfer, clients must notify the trainer once payment has been made (via the client portal or consultation page). Failure to notify may delay scheduling.
All programme fees must be paid in full within the agreed payment schedule.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a booked session.
Where at least 72 hours’ notice is provided:
If less than 72 hours’ notice is provided:
Repeated rescheduling may result in review of booking eligibility.
Rescheduled sessions must still fall within the programme’s original completion timeframe unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. No-Shows
If a client:
The session will be counted as used and no refund or replacement session will be provided.
6. Programme Commitment
Training programmes are structured for progressive learning. Consistency and implementation between sessions are essential.
Clients agree to:

Attend sessions prepared and on time

Complete agreed practice between lessons
-
Communicate openly about challenges
Programmes are non-transferable to another person or dog without written agreement.
7. Travel Fees
Where applicable, travel fees:

Are calculated based on location
-
Are disclosed prior to service
-
Are added to the invoice

Are due at time of payment
8. Exceptions & Welfare Situations
Mindfulness4dogs may, at its discretion, consider rescheduling (not refunding) sessions in cases involving:
Proof may be requested in cases of repeated rescheduling.
Programme timeframes remain in place unless formally extended in writing.
9. Health & Safety Compliance
Mindfulness4dogs operates under obligations set out in the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA).
Clients must comply with the Health & Safety Fragrance & VOC Policy, including maintaining a fragrance-free and safe training environment during in-person sessions.
Failure to comply may result in:

refusal to enter the premises

termination of the session
-
rescheduling at the trainer’s discretion
-
forfeiture of session fees

10. Child Safety
Parents and caregivers retain full responsibility for supervising children during sessions.
All child participation must comply with the Child Safety Policy
Mindfulness4dogs reserves the right to pause, modify, or terminate a session if safety is compromised. Session fees remain payable in such instances.
11. Behavioural Outcomes
Because canine behaviour is influenced by genetics, health, environment, learning history, and owner compliance, results cannot be guaranteed.
Refunds are not issued for perceived lack of behavioural progress.
12. Consumer Rights (NZ Context)
Nothing in this Policy affects rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
