What if walking your dog felt like a partnership… not a battle?
Not a constant tug-of-war. Not being dragged down the footpath. Not the endless “heel” that never quite sticks. But a dog who chooses to walk with you, lead soft, checking in, moving through the world together.
This course is built for real families, real dogs, and real walks.
We’ll guide you through the foundations of clicker training, capturing focus, shaping movement, and building clarity, then bring that clarity onto the lead itself. From there we build the skill that changes every walk: your dog learning that staying close, keeping the lead loose, and reconnecting with you is the best part of being out in the world.
Not because they’re forced… but because they understand.
You’ll learn how to gently grow focus, distance, and distraction tolerance so your dog can:
- Walk past another dog without lunging or pulling
- Keep the lead soft down a busy footpath
- Stay settled while bikes, cars, and people pass by
- Choose to check in with you instead of forging ahead
- Enjoy a calm walk that leaves you both feeling connected, not exhausted
This isn’t about control. It’s about communication.
It’s about giving your dog the clarity to understand what you’re asking, and the confidence to walk beside you through a busy human world.
Because when the lead goes soft… everything else falls into place.
🐾 A loose lead is a shared conversation.
