Luna is seventeen weeks. More distractable, more aware. The brain is starting to reorganise. Darran calls it the pre-adolescent window — and the best thing to do is not panic.

The puppy who figured everything out in the garden is discovering the garden isn't the whole world.

More distractable on walks. Things that were invisible now register. Another dog forty metres away has Luna's full attention. This is normal. It's the brain reorganising. Keep going with the foundations — they're exactly what's needed in the pre-adolescent window.
